Job description

As Sponsorship Account Manager, you will be responsible for the operational delivery and day-to-day management of EHA’s sponsorship programs. You will ensure sponsor satisfaction, retention, and support the Snr Business Development Specialist to achieve revenue targets by translating departmental strategy into actionable plans and managing sponsor relationships throughout their lifecycle (acquisition, onboarding, fulfillment, renewal).  

You will coordinate cross-functionally within the organization to deliver contractual benefits, maintain data integrity in CRM systems, and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement. This position is pivotal in ensuring a seamless sponsor experience and driving sustainable growth in sponsorship income streams.

Key Responsibilities:

Sponsorship Operations & Delivery

  • Manage day-to-day sponsorship operations and ensure delivery of all commitments

  • Oversee sponsor onboarding, fulfillment, and renewals

  • Track and report sponsor activity and deliverables in CRM

Revenue

  • Achieve and optimize revenue targets

  • Support grant development process and submission to sponsor portals

  • Develop sales materials, packages, and partner presentations

Sponsor Relationship Management 

  • Serve as main point for contact for sponsors

  • Maintain and nurture relationships, oversee renewals and upsell opportunities

  • Collect and analyze sponsor feedback for continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery and reporting on outcomes of what is sold with internal teams (marketing, events, education, research, publications, etc.)

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Ensure consistent use of CRM for data integrity and performance tracking

  • Generate sponsor activity and engagement reports (internal)

  • Review outcomes reporting and submission according to sponsor requirements (external)

  • A limited contract, approx. 9-12 months.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years in sales account management, sponsorship, or corporate relations

  • Experience in membership associations and/or healthcare/pharmaceutical sector preferred

  • Knowledge of sponsorship strategies, CRM systems, contract management, and stakeholder engagement

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills

  • Proven project management skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Financial acumen

  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure campaign performance and derive actionable insights

  • Non-EU/EEA nationals must possess a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
