Hematologic diseases afflict millions of Europeans each year. The European Hematology Association (EHA), located in the heart of The Hague (Netherlands), is a non-profit professional association serving clinicians and researchers with an active interest in hematology in Europe and beyond. Our mission is to promote excellence in patient care through education, research and advocacy.
Hematology is constantly changing. We help our members stay current by delivering a structured educational program created by hematologists for hematologists. We offer a range of career development programs to help clinicians and researchers grow professionally and personally. We also advocate for hematologists and hematology at local and international levels.
Are you looking for an internship opportunity where you can put your knowledge into practice?
During this internship you will support the Specialized Working Groups (SWG) Manager with engagement and development activities.
You will be assisting with activities such as (but not limited to):
Supporting and managing membership applications,
Assisting with the organization of (international) meetings,
Working on SWG-related projects,
CRM implementation,
Responding to member inquiries and a lot more!
As an intern at the European Hematology Association, you will get insight into a professional internationally oriented association.
Job requirements
Only candidates who are registered at an Educational Institute and live in the Netherlands will be considered. If you are a non-EU/EEA national, a valid work permit for the Netherlands is required.
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
Capability to fluently communicate in English (in writing and orally)
Submitting a VOG (declaration of conduct) within 8 weeks of joining is a mandatory requirement
Specific requirements for this internship
Studying for a MBO (diploma) or HBO (bachelor degree) in Management, Public or Business Administration, marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, Information Management or similar.
Basic understanding of membership engagement, engagement of stakeholders, customer care principles, data analysis and CRM tools.
Strong written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Monday (Project Management)
Data analysis (Excel, PowerBI)
Familiarity with online platforms and/or an analytical mindset
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively
Enthusiasm for learning and a pro-active attitude
