Job description
We are looking for an intern to support the organization of various meetings and events! As a meetings’ logistics Intern, you will support the EHA Meetings Team responsible for organizing EHA scientific meetings. Your role will focus on supporting logistical and administration coordination to ensure smooth preparation and execution of high-level scientific events.
You will be supporting the team with
Populating a Meeting App with content and work on the backend to fine tune the features (tech-savvy support) for one specific scientific meeting.
Provide support on logistics for different meetings taking place during this period (catering, mailings, registration, signage, database updates).
Handle the sending of confirmation emails, logistics emails, or any communication to faculty for different scientific meetings (supervised by a project manager).
We seek an intern who is proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to be mentored to support scientific meeting coordination in an international environment, preferably someone who is interested in learning about event management and interested in challenges.

Receive an internship allowance of €775 gross per month (based on a full-time internship).
Job requirements
Only candidates who are registered at an educational institute and reside in the Netherlands will be considered. If you are a non‑EU/EEA national, a valid work permit for the Netherlands is required.
Employment is subject to the condition that the employee provides the employer with a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) within eight weeks of the employment start date.
Available to start in September or October 2026 and commit to an internship period of six months.
Specific requirements for this internship
You are currently enrolled in an education program (diploma, bachelor or master) in the field of event management, hospitality management, MICE or a related field.
You are tech-savvy and have a natural curiosity to explore technical developments and understand tools and apps.
You have an excellent command of English (written and spoken, C1 level or equivalent).
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in standard office software (MS Office suite) and an aptitude for quickly learning new digital tools and platforms.
You are accurate and reliable in handling data.
You are organized and love to follow structured workflows.
You show willingness to be mentored to support EHA and achieve personal development.
You aren't afraid of challenges such as last minute changes.
